Morning Music

(Tuesday and Thursday Mornings from 9-10:30 a.m.)

Morning Music is a program for preschool age children who are accompanied by their caregiver. The class focuses on rhythm, rhyming, phonemic awareness, music, movement and language development. The environment promotes Montessori methods in the home. Please join us for a fun and interactive time of learning! A suggested $2 donation would be greatly appreciated per family for each class period.

Godly Play

(Tuesday Afternoons from 3:30-4:30 p.m.)

Godly Play offers families a deep, respectful experience with scripture. At the heart of this program is the art of knowing how to use the language of Christian people to understand the purpose of living our lives. Godly Play aims to:
• -Make God's word come alive for families.
• -Assist in spiritual development.
• -Help Christianity become a part of daily life.
• -Make the language of the Bible be more familiar.

*Open to children of all ages who are accompanied by a caregiver.*

Water Color Classes

(Offered on a Quarterly Basis)

Classes are for ages 10 and up for people with any level of experience. The class will demonstrate the many techniques of the art of water colors and allows participants time at the end of class to paint and use what they just learned. Costs of classes vary depending on supplies.

Breaking Bread

---

Breaking Bread is Grace Place's community time program that takes place on Tuesday evenings at 5:15 p.m. This is a time to come together, break bread, thank God and share our lives through fellowship.

Montessori Resource Center

---

Montessori education philosophy believes "The parent is the child's first teacher and the child cultivates thier own natural desire to learn." The Montessori resources rooms are a place where parent and child can learn together, as well as the community. The Montessori programs at Grace Place provide tools to help your child be a life long learner, Kindergarten readiness, lessons in positive discipline, and grace and courtesy. This gift of learning is something every child deserves.

Mentoring Programs

Our mentoring programs offer opportunities for women and families in the community to develop sound skills in decision making, goal setting, and problem solving during transitional times of their lives. Clients can be paired with a mentor to build trust and healthy relationships together to help toward learning and growing through life experiences. Our counseling is offered on a sliding fee scale or through insurance. The counseling we offer includes:
