Montessori education philosophy believes "The parent is the child's first teacher and the child cultivates their own natural desire to learn." Maria Montessori developed these insights to the process of learning. Her scientific discoveries now 100 years old are being verified with the advancement of medical testing and current brain based research. All who have had a change to learn and teach this method know the wonder it beholds. Students of Montessori have been Anne Frank, Maya Angelou, and the two Google guys.

The Montessori resources rooms are a place where parent and child can learn tohgether, as well as the community. The MOntessori programs at Grace Place provide tools to help your child be a life long learner, Kindergarten readiness, lessons in positive discipline, and grace and courtesy. This gift of learning is something every child deserves.

You and your child can sign up for a 1-2 hour session Monday through Thursday.  These one on one mentoring sessions are for preschool age child accompanied by their caregiver.   Please contact Heather Alt to sign up or for more information, (507) 452-2283
