Carla Burton has worked in the fields of Early Childhood Education and Family Ministry for over 20 years. The Burton family founded the Grace Place Ministry in December of 1992 . She is a single mother of four children and lives in Stockton, MN.

Carla has a B.S. in Elementary Education, which includes a Pre-K and Kindergarten certification. She also is a licensed Kindermusik instructor and is certified to teach Godly Play. Carla also has attended the Youth and Family Institute of Augsburg College for training in Discipleship and the Church Outside the Walls. She is a member of the Thrivent Board of Directors, Winona Early Childhood Advisory Council, and attends Living Light Church.
